Excellent Stay with Great Amenities

quiet areabeautiful decorationshort distanceconvenient umbrella
The hotel's location provided easy access to many restaurants and bars, yet the area remained quiet. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and featured beautiful decoration. I found it very practical to be within a short walking distance of major attractions. There were umbrellas available for guest use. This was very convenient.
The welcome felt a little cold. I traveled with my son. The receptionist asked, 'You do know our policy is 8+ to stay here? '.
Facilities
10/10
There is complimentary tea, coffee, and water available. Delicious homemade biscuits were even in the room. Guests can store bags after check-out and find every interesting information of this city also in the room.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast was very tasteful. I highly recommend the breakfast a la carte. I noticed there are a lot of good cafes and restaurants in the same street and also around the corner.

Central Stay

i appreciated the convenient location right behind the cathedral. friendly staff were very accommodating, and the breakfast was lovely. the whisky bar below offered nice drinks and the pub opposite provides another option. chocolates in our room were a nice touch, it celebrated our anniversary night.
my only suggestion would be for firmer pillows, especially ones without feathers. a non-feather pillow might better suit more guests, worth considering for comfort.

the hotel includes a breakfast restaurant and honesty bar. the honesty bar is open until 11.30 and seems stocked well. a whisky bar is located below, and a pub is just opposite the hotel.

Georgian Charm in the Heart of it All

The central location allowed immediate access to key attractions (such as the Roman Baths), and this saved considerable travel time. The room featured quality toiletries. I liked the honesty bar in the basement. It created a relaxed atmosphere. Staff were cute and provided umbrellas during a downpour, a very thoughtful touch.
The soundproofing could have been better. I noticed some noise from nearby streets late at night.

Acceptable Stay with Noticeable Issues

The hotel's location proved satisfactory with proximity to key attractions.
The room size was smaller than expected. significant noise intrusion occurred late into the night. Single-pane windows appear inadequate to block external disturbances and I found this unacceptable.
